In Onboarding.team, training is built around courses, lessons, homework assignments, and quizzes. Together they help you pass knowledge on to employees, keep training quality under control, and track progress through the onboarding program.
How training works on the platform
Training on the platform can be pictured like this:
In other words, a course is made up of one or more lessons. If needed, any lesson can include a homework assignment — to check knowledge, gather feedback, or assess an employee's practical skills.
A quiz measures how well an employee has absorbed the material. By default it sits at the end of a course, but you can place it anywhere in the training program.
So training on the platform might look like this:
Study a lesson → Complete a homework assignment (if needed) → Study the next lessons → Take the final quiz
or, for example,
Study a lesson → Take a quiz → Study the next lessons → Homework assignment → Continue training
